tolerate either one. I was on Methadone for 10 yrs prior to the pump being put in. So after many months of trying and going thru withdrawl from both methadone first, then morphine second, to get on dilaudid and that not working I had to go through withdrawl one more time to get back on the original dosage of methadone I had been on. My question for Dr. Krusz is this:

Do you have any idea why the pump would not be sucessful for me? I still have it in me and it is just filled with saline for now so in case I want to try it again I can. I am so scared to do that though. Do you have any suggestions for me. I have Muscular Dystrophy and have pain constantly. My muscles dont relax and I have been fused already in c56,c67 and have lombard disc problems as well as scoliosis as well. I know I will have pain for the rest of my life and I really want to get the best help I can. It sounds to me like you are very knowledgable about this and I would appreciate your help.

Thank you so much

Jody
