Why am I having freezing firey painful chills that shake my body after 3 disc fusion surgery?

By Judy Saturday, January 07, 2012

After 3 disc fusion,  on meds still. I am freezing  all the time and mutiple times a day times a day this freezing cold chill that turns hot firey burning pain (my skin only), that runs from my neck/shoulders down to my toes. I have no spinal pain now but this is overwhelming. Does anyone know why or what I could do to calm this pain to a tolerable level?

I don't know if this is relevant to your condition but a couple of years back I experienced very "unnatural" feelings of being chilled to the bone!

I had been on tramadol and lyrica for about 7 to 8 months at the time so I put it down to this medication.

I decided to come off this medication but suffered greatly as I stopped far too quick! Anyway, after all my withdrawal symptoms settled I got no more freezing chills!

Just a thought?

Please take care, and best of luck from a fellow chronic pain sufferer
