i well know the feelings you've briefly expressed- i have myself been dx. with FB although i think it is in error. i think this is the case in a lot of situations- my friends call FB the wastebasket dx. NOT that it isn't legit, PLEASE don't get me wrong, but nowadays, docs are tossing people in that category without doing a lot of testing and digging, probbing and contemplation. i was wondering if you've seen this http://www.healthcentral.com/chronic-pain/fibromyalgia-38951-5.html?ic=4031
I'm sure there's a ton more out there- on the treatment of FB. as much as doctors want to pooh pooh people doing their own research on the web, i'll tell you from my experience, sometimes you have to! be your own best advocate! there arE things you can do to feel better- cures, no- i don't have cures for the things i have either. that's a tough pill to swallow and we have to allow ourselves to grieve. truly grieve our losses. but push onward at the same time- seeking what we caN do to make our lives something new, something beautiful in the midst of the pain. it can become a reality for you* i believe that! i believe it for me- and i believe it for you.
if you feel too depressed to even bother, try some counseling, seek some emotional support, start where you are. baby steps. and one step at a time, your life will get better! the road is hard- i'm not going to make light of that- but we can make friends along the way too- and when our faith gets weak- reach out- hold their hands, borrow their faith for awhile*
