Beach Scene

By renlady Friday, November 09, 2007
Beach Scene My name is Nancy Armstrong. I am a 47 year old 100% disabled  Navy veteran and deemed unemployable. I don't let any labels stop me from living. This last week I have been suffering from neck pain I believe being triggered by stress of an unresolved abcess in my husband's foot. He had an MRI but still no results. And this problem is holding us up from going to my 30th class reunion. I keep painting though. I try not to let my creativity be squelched by all this pain. To get through this week I have been using my TENS unit and it has done the trick!  My painting was done for my son Justin and his fiancee Alli for their living room. It was done on a 16x20 canvas in oils my favorite medium these days.

Dear Renlady

What a beautiful artist you are.

Thank you for sharing your work with us.

I don't know alot about painting, as I've not an artistic bone in my body, but do you use a picture or is the image right in your mind, or then again, maybe you live on a beach too.Wink

I'm just certain that your son and his special young lady are going to be so thrilled with your painting in their home.

Just Beautiful!  Thank you for shairing it

Betty

I love your beach scene, I know how art can take our minds to another place.  Hope you share more and I know how the pain can limit us.  Andrea Lee
