I had  experience severe trauma to the left side of my body almost 3 years ago at which time I sustained a fracture to the left side of my skull and fractures to my shoulder (as well as other injuries).  I was found unconscious by my husband on our lawn.  Since that time, I have had severe pressure and pain to only the left side of my head.  I constantly have popping and cracking noises near the areas of my left ear/left sinus/neck areas.  I had to have a (right) molar pulled and the anesthesia did NOT take...it was a blazing nightmare and suffered greatly.  Could this be TMJ?  My pcp doctor thinks it could be, but the  CT and xrays didn't show anything.  What type of doctor do I go to for this to be properly diagnose.  EVERYTHING has been ruled out by now...I mean EVERYTHING.  I was even admitted to r/o a  stroke!!!!!!!  That's how bad it has gotten.
