I have stage 4 lung cancer and have been on oxicotin and roxicodone for a year and a half now. Last month I got the generic version of oxicotin but couldn't get the roxicodone. Does any one anything about how long the shortage will last?

i am presently on morphine and oxycodone for my cancer pain. i would like to know if there is something other than morphine. i have been taking it for 20 months now i would like to find something different. if anyone know of something better i would like to know.....thanks teresa
