I am a disabled nurse, i don't even like to say that i am a nurse any longer, i hurt my back originally in oct 2002 while lifting a patient. The "pulled muscle" never healed properly and then in 2004 Aug i shattered my 4th toe R foot, the podiatrist did not want to do anything,"we'll just wait" being on the crutches aggravated the thoracic area that had been injured earlier, this made it way worse. I spent 3 yrs and a lot of money trying to find a doc that would tell me what was wrong with my upper back, they all said i was drug seeking, in the end of 2005 i found a wonderful doc in albuquerque who did diagnose me.The doc did not take my insurance so i went back to my pain doc until Jan 2006 and thought of taking my own life due to the pain, i found a doc that did the Myobloc procedure and he saved my life.During this 4 or so yr period i also was going to a massage therapist that did myofascial realease,he REALLY saved my life.I was "cured" of the thoracic problem March 1 2006 and then March 30 2006 i flew off the deck after slipping on the icy snow and broke my back. Here i am now 2008 and looking for answers.
