From time to time we hear from patients who have been terminated by their pain management doctor because they didn't pass their drug test, although they swear they took their medications exactly as prescribed. These patients want to know what their legal rights are as well as whether it's legal for a doctor to cut a patient off suddenly and leave them without medication and facing withdrawal.
