In addition to my writing here on ChronicPainConnection, I also do some freelance work, writing researched articles for ProHealth, a supplement company that is also a big supporter of fibromyalgia and ME/CFS research. Since I began doing that a few months ago, I've been really impressed with the amount of research that has been done on vitamins and other supplements.
In fact, I was so impressed with what I learned that I began taking a few of the supplements myself – with some very positive results. (One of the most dramatic changes I've experienced is a significant improvement in my energy level since taking CoQ10 regularly.)
So when I saw a recent article in Reader's Digest that not only put down vitamins, but actually said they were a scam, I had to speak out. You can read my article here: Who's Running the Scam – Vitamin Companies... or Reader's Digest?
