Goodnighties Recovery Sleepwear: A Product Review

By Karen Lee Richards, Health Guide Tuesday, June 22, 2010

Sizes:  Goodnighties are available in a wide range of sizes – from XS to 3X.  They are true to size, so order the size of pajamas you normally wear.  I like my jammies to be really loose and comfortable, so I buy them once size larger than my daytime clothes.  You can find their sizing guidelines on the Our Story link on their Web site.

Price:  The price of Goodnighties at this time ranges from $23.50 to $55.95 per item, depending upon the style you choose.  According to their Web site, these prices reflect a 20% discount.  They cost a little more than discount store pjs but less than high-end brands.  Although they're a little more expensive than what I usually spend for sleepwear, in my opinion, they're worth every cent.  I look at it as an investment in my health.  What price would you pay for improved sleep and reduced pain?  I've paid more for one month of sleeping medication that didn't really do much to improve the quality of my sleep.

Care:  The care of Goodnighties is very simple – machine wash in cold water (no fabric softener) and hang to dry.  Because they are so lightweight, they dry very quickly.

Where to Buy:  You can order Goodnighties directly from their Web site:  Goodnighties.com

Summary

I am a highly skeptical person and very protective of the fibromyalgia community – especially when it comes to products that claim to be beneficial for people with fibromyalgia.  It is rare that I recommend any kind of product.  Goodnighties is one of those rare finds.  They have made a significant difference in the quality of my sleep and helped reduce my pain level.  I just wish I never had to take them off.  Maybe one day they'll develop a line of clothing, too, and I won't have to.

Disclosure:  The manufacturers of Goodnighties provided me with a pair of pajamas and a gown for review.  I have no other affiliation with the company.
