Arnica Gel Topical Pain Reliever

By Karen Lee Richards, Health Guide Sunday, October 31, 2010
I first came across Arnica gel several years ago in California.  While having dinner at the home of one of the NFA board members, I happened to mention that I had been having a lot of pain in my right arm.  Karin, our hostess, said she had something that would help.  She left the room ...

I always keep this cream on hand (and elbow, neck, back....).

I was introduced to it by my massage therapist 6 years ago. I'd been in a rollover MVA and had serious neck, shoulder, and back injuries. He used it on these areas and it worked 100% better than any of the prescription topical creams I'd tried from my doctor.

Now that I have fibro, I use it all over as needed. Sometimes I wish there was a product with arnica that could be added to my bath water! I might never get out of the tub- LOL. Cool

Hmmm... An Arnica bubble bath – wouldn't that be wonderful!

I started using it for pain in the knee area, after having knee replacement (the first one) done.  Then I had the second knee replaced and continued to use it.  I have been diagnosed with Fibro more than 25 years ago and wish I had known about this gel a long time ago - it is amazing how quickly the pain quiets down!  I keep a tube next to my chair in the Living Room, 1 in the bathroom, 1 in the bedroom, 1 next to my computer and even have 1 in my car.  I absolutely would never make it through a day without this wonder gel!

I always tell my friends about it for whatever injury they incur.  My granddaughter call is Grandma's Magic Cream, because it takes her bruises away quickly!

Thanks for helping spread the word.  Perhaps more stores will begin carrying this product making it even easier to get.  Right now, in Lancaster, PA the only place I know to get it is SaveMart and that's not always easy for me to get there.

It's in my purse, on my nightstand, at my kids' houses. We used arnica when our two daughters suffered head injuries--serious ones, coma and all. It helped. We used it after eye surgery--they said that there would be black/blue bruises for three months. I secretly gave it to her after the eye surgery, and kept at it. At our recheck four days later, the doctor told me he was a genious, that there was not even any bruising. These days we use it every time the grandkids bump their head or knees. I use it at night for fibromyalgia. Used it after two mastectomies and four other surgeries. I felt Immediate Relief! I gave dad some arnica for Christmas, because he loves it so much for his arthritic shoulders. Would I recommend it to everyone? Yes. And at only about $5 a tube--that lasts for months--it's a cheap experiment in good health. Oh, and I am now using the gel on my face every night, and my goodness--I look younger!
