Hi Karen

This is very interesting research.  It seems that just in the past month alone there have been multiple studies on how medicinal marijuana can help with a variety of medical conditions.

I agree with you that they should continue this research and find a way to use marijuana to help patients ease the symptoms of their condition.

Who knows what the future holds?

MM – Thank you for taking the time to share all those links!  It really is quite amazing to see all the different conditions medical marijuana may help.  I look forward to continued research that will give us more insights into how it can be used beneficially.  Thanks again!

it really is a great shame that there isn't more research into this. I have some personal experience with using marijuana for pain relief and found that it was far more effective for my fibromyalgia pain than anything else I've tried. More needs to be done in terms of research and making medical marijuana legitimate treatment option.

I agree, Lene.  In the past, the US government has kept a tight rein on the marijuana that can be used for research.  Researchers were not allowed to grow it themselves but had to get it from the government.  I don't know if that has changed or not but we're definitely seeing a lot of new research lately.  And as the research continues to grow, it's going to get harder and harder for the government to ignore it.

I patrticipated in this clinical trial! I have looked for others like it and there aren't a lot being done. I am glad I was able to be a part of this and hope there are more in the future. Medical marijuana can help many people. I hope our government will change the laws about it soon.
