  • Spring is officially here. To celebrate this season of new beginnings, authors Celeste Cooper and Jeff Miller will be giving away free copies of the Kindle version of their new book Broken Body, Wounded Spirit: Balancing the See-Saw of Chronic Pain, Spring Devotions on March 22, 2014.*

Although this is a Kindle (digital) book, don't worry if you don't have a Kindle. Amazon provides free apps that allow their eBooks to be read on computers, iPads, smartphones and other devices.

Spring Devotions is the fourth and last of the four-book series, Broken Body, Wounded Spirit: Balancing the See-Saw of Chronic Pain. Organized into a "book of days" each chapter offers a combination of practical coping advice and inspiration to help readers restore that important balance of body, mind and spirit.

The authors asked me to write a brief review of the book for the inside cover. This is what I said: “This, the last of Celeste and Jeff's four seasonal devotions books, may just be the best of all. From its practical suggestions to its inspirational quotes and photos, Spring Devotions offers chronic pain sufferers daily bite-sized, easily digestible tidbits that educate, encourage and empower us to take control of our health and our lives. And as someone who likes to jot down personal thoughts in my devotionals, I especially appreciate the extra space for notes. All in all, Broken Body, Wounded Spirit...: Spring Devotions is a valuable asset for anyone living with chronic pain.”

You can get the free Kindle version of the book HERE.
