    If you'll click on the link in the SharePost, it will take you to information about the study.  Scroll down to the "Contacts and Locations" section and click on the link that says "Show 46 Study Locations."  There you'll find all the locations where the study is being conducted and a phone number you can call for more information.  Here's the link again for your convenience:  “Efficacy and Safety of Fentanyl Buccal Tablets Compared With Oxycodone for the Management of Breakthrough Pain.”

    I'll report on the trial when the results are published, however, that will likely be a year or more from now.  The estimated completion date of the trial is May, 2009; then it usually takes the researchers a few months to compile and analyze the statistics and write the report; finally, a journal has to agree to publish it, which may take a few more months.  Unfortunately for those of us anxiously awaiting information, the wheels of research often move slowly.
