News from the American Academy of Pain Management’s Clinical Meeting

Karen Lee Richards Health Guide
  • I’m writing this from a hotel room in the beautiful Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee.  Teri Robert, MyMigraineConnection expert, and I are here for the American Academy of Pain Management’s 19th Annual Clinical Meeting.  We’re trying to learn all we can about new research and treatment options that we can share with you.  I’m excited about Wednesday because there’s a full day of sessions on fibromyalgia.

Shortly after arriving, I had a nice surprise. As I walked to the registration desk, I ran into Lynne Matallana.  She and I co-founded the National Fibromyalgia Association eleven years ago.  Although we keep in touch and occasionally work on a project together, we hadn’t seen each other in person for a few years.  We’re hoping to get some time together to catch up before we both have to head home.

Teri did a short video showing you where we are and what we’re up to that I planned to share with you, but so far we haven’t been able to get it to show up in the SharePosts.  If we get it worked out tomorrow, I’ll post the video for you to see and tell you how the FM sessions went.  Until then, so long from Nashville…or as we say in Tennessee, Ya’ll come!
