Good news for everyone who has been affected by the oxycodone shortage!
This week the FDA approved Sun Pharmaceutical Industries' request to market the generic version of Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals’ Roxicodone (oxycodone HCI). It will be available in 5, 15, and 30 mg. tablets. This is part of the FDA's continued effort to work with drugmakers to resolve the supply problem with immediate-release oxycodone tablets.
