That's not a simple question to answer.  Although fibromyalgia and ME/CFS (also known as chronic fatigue syndrome) have many similarities, how they respond to exercise is not one of them.  The right kind of exercise usually helps reduce FM symptoms, but the same exercise may cause ME/CFS sy...

I just realized that I do everything WRONG. I do clean the house, hubby do the vacuming, Gosh , I am at considering it as LOVE. I think that if I can keep the house clean on day to day basis I do the right exercice.  And the stairs, well I have just 3  halves = 1 1/2, usually not very good at maths but it will do. I do lost the count as I forget a lot of stuff usually on the lower  level YellI can't sit very much for long, this posting will be the most I can in one sitting.

I used to be very active, I gave up all my activities to pain.Cry I am at the point of drawing "joy" and satisfaction at cleaning  WOW, I used to do it as a necessity. I read somewhere as long as a person ( women) keeps cleaning she's safe for going crazy !!!

If I had known about that  that Dr. Sharon Clark I would have all the right reasons to stop cleaning, now it's too late but I'll keep that article, one day I'll get it out . I approach cleaning as I would with "real" exercices, carefully, I do it only for what I can in one day. I used to do it all in one dayTongue out and still bake bread .

My approach at real exercises did not gave satisfaction up to now whatever way I do it it calls for pain.  At least with cleaning, I can complaint about the pain and I have pain for something ...............

Just my views on ............the dirty word "EXERCISES"

Seriously, I try very hard, walking is the one I stick to but I can't do it every day. I need to walk, it keeps my sanity, if I am more than few days without I get depressed
