I HAVE BEEN TRACHED FOR 14 YEARS DUE TO SLEEP APNEA. i HAVE HAD TYPE 2 DIABETES FOR 8 YEARS. i HAVE TAKEN THE REGULAR FLU SHOT RELIGIOUSLY EVERY YEAR. HOWEVER, THIS SWINE FLU? I DON'T THINK SO. ALTHOUGH I KNOW i WILL HAVE BIG ARGUMENTS WITH MY PRIMARY AND PULMONARY DRS. I WILL NOT TAKE THIS SHOT. THE REASON BEING THAT (1) I DON'T THINK IT HAS BEEN PERFECTED. (2) SINCE I RARELY GO OUT ,ALWAYS WASH MY HANDS EITHER WITH SOAP AND HOT WATER OR HAND SANITIZER,HAVE NOT HAD A COLD OR EVEN A SNIFFLE IN NEARLY 15 YEAR OR ANY TYPE OF RESPERITORY INFECTION AND I AN A VEGITARIAN .I DO NOT EAT FLESH OR ANY ANIMAL BY-PRODUCTS. I THINK MY RISKS OF CONTRACTING THE VIRUS ARE PRACTICALLY NIL. IF NOT JUST NON EXISTANT
I was already having doubts about the H1N1 vaccine when I started hearing little bits of information about problems with it. I applaud this doctor for going against the flow of 'yes men' who are singing it's praises and recommending it for everyone. I am convinced it was rushed into production and should not be released until it has been refined further. I have Fibromyalgia and my daughter has Gulf War Syndrome. My family will skip the H1N1 vaccine. Thank you for getting this important information out there.

I took the regular flu vac at work the other day. I really cannot tell as of now that it has affected me any. I have had a particularly bad time with stiffness and also some increased fog stuff. But this is normal sometimes for me. The vaccine was actually given about 36 hours ago now. I will see but I am thinking it may not have had any adverse affects.

I follow several non-mainstream doctors (Dr Mercola is one) and they are all saying whatever you do, do NOT get the H1N1 vaccine. Not one to bury my head in the sand, I am also keeping up with what the mainstream media is reporting about the virus as well. Weighing all the input, I have decided to not get the vaccine for myself or our children. I was curious what Dr. Dean had to say about it and I am heartened that following my instincts seems to be the best course for our family. Thank you, Dr. Dean, for sharing your information and honest opinion with us.
I'm 60 years old; have no underlying health conditions that I know of; and have never had a reaction to any other innoculation. I had the H1N1 vaccine some time in November of 2009, and, as of this date (March 19, 2010), I have chronic and fairly serious muscle pain in my upper left arm (which is the site of the injection).
I am a person with cronic pain, possibly fibromyalgia so my doctor says.I have back and neck pain daily and pretty much live with it.About four years ago I gave up on Pharm and Otc meds which make this years decision even harder.I have gotten the regular flu shot in the past and still got sick.I am presently getting over a mild case of a cold/flu??. I like your article because I do not believe in this new flu I do howvere know there has been a flu every year as long as have been here(58& years) and then some. I think I will take my chances this year.Wish me luck. HB,sick at home
