About Me

Suffered from CFS since 1992, Extreme fatigue became a way of life learning to live within my limitations. Many woman problems rupturing of ovarian cysts, painful intercourse, bladder infections. Gestational Diabetes with 1st pregnancy 1990, Ruptured Cervix with 2nd pregnancy 1995 couldn't walk for month. Irritable bowel syndrome. Have had panic attacks that increased through the years with depression. Sensitive to light and sound, poor short term memory, poor concentration, tingling in hands and feet. Back pain became chronic after car accident 1999 herniated discs in lower back and neck. Treatments were celebrex, naprosyn with no relief. Then Fetynl patch (morphine), Vicodin and Flexeril. Suffer with severe night sweats since 2000, difficulty sleeping, urge incontinence at 33 yrs old wore depends! Seasonal Affective Disorder 15 years. Total hysterectomy 2005, since then back pain minimal. Still contend with fatigue that worsens with physical activities which I try to limit. Depression and panic attacks treated with Zoloft for 8 years. Stopped for two years. Most recently prescribed Lexapro which is helping symptoms. Seroquel for sleep. Night sweating is still severe, often get muscle cramps, vertigo and numbness in hands and feet. It is disheartening to live in a body that works against itself but somehow I am still standing. My children have been my strength, God has been my salvation.
