Sharp leg pains, fever and extreme fatigue

  • I am wondering if anyone has experienced sharp leg pains, weekness, fever and extreme fatigue? Have you gotten a diagnosis?  I have been struggling for over a year now and things seems to be getting worse but the doctors just can't seem to find a REAL answer. I am so tired of feeling this way and hurting all the time. Can someone please help with any type of hints or if you have had the same and got a good diagnosis? Thanks in advance as I am a mother of 5 young kids and have to start feeling better soon.

    A desperate mom!

Yes, I am a former teacher and had stabbing leg pains, a fever, horrible fatigue, headaches, weakness, and some other symptoms. I went to Drs. for 2 yrs. before finally finding out what was wrong. I was tested for Lyme, MS, Mono, Epstein Barr, arthritis, West Nile, low iron, & others. It turned out it was an exposure to toxic mold and pesticides and my school building!! I never in a thousand years would have ever thought of mold but it was. Blood work and avoidance of the buidling proved without a doubt it was mold. Three inspections were done and all proved high to moderate levels of some very bad molds. Most Drs. don't have a clue about invironmental illness which is a real shame because MANY things in our environment is making many people very sick. The clothes we wear, the foods we eat, our water, carpeting, plastics, pesticides, shampoos, daily household cleaners and much, much more. Go to www.survivingmold.com for lots of good info. I, highly, suggest, you take the VCS test at that site. It is inexpensive, 98% accurate and you will get your results as soon as you are finished. It is only a first screening but will give you some idea if you have a toxic illness or not. Toxins affect the optic nerve & that's why it works. The information there will explain it all to you and how it works. Please give it a try to see what it tells you. I was exposed in 2003 and am doing so much better but I have to avoid most chemicals and all moldy buildings. Mold is usually hidden behind walls, in basements or above ceilings so you never know!! You may contact me ANY time, I'll be happy to help you any way I can and share more info with you. ssr3351@aol.com

Hi Michele,  ever consider the thought of MS?  I hope it's not, but that been my problem since 1992 and the some.  See a doc and remove that from a possibility.

Thanks Joe, I am not sure what it is. My doctor has no idea and he sent me to the mayo clinic in Jacksonville with no real answers there besides chronic fatique. I went to one doctor here that diagnosed me with Lymes disease but all other doctors here in Florida seem to be completly agaisnt Lymes disease and have not done any other test. Thanks for the suggestions....
