It has been a while since I last posted on here.  My last post was shortly after my last surgery (Bi-Lateral Arthoscopy?) June of 2007.  The surgery went well.  Well it turned out that Feburary of 2008, I was involved in a minor car accident.  It was determined by MRI and my Oral Surgeon that the accident undid the surgery.  It was too early to go in and do the surgery again.  I had to compile a list of all the medications that I had been on over the 17 years since my diagnosis.  The Oral Surgeon came across a medication that he had not tried before.  I started taking it in March of 2008 and we had to do an increase within one month.  Since I increased the dosage, the pain levels started decreasing.  By January of 2009, the pain levels were almost nothing.  I was then getting to where I could eat regular meals and function like a "Normal Person".  I started having headaches around the same time and the doctors were trying to figure out what all was going on.  They then referred me to the Physical Therapist at Sports Medicine.  I then started seeing a therapist that works with Posture In Alignment.  She has helped me work on getting my posture straightened out and adjusted to the changes.  The headaches and TMJ pain are all a thing of the past at this time.  I still have days where I don't feel 100%.  Although they are few and far between.  I only have to take a couple Tylenol at that time and things get better.  If it is a really bad day, then I start working on some of the things that the Physical Therapist showed me and then I start feeling better.  Hope that everyone else is feeling great and has a Very Happy Day.
