As many of you know, I had a very important appointment at Philly children's hospital. Anyway, to make a long story short, I don't have lupus. Praise God! I was diagnosed with RND. It's rare so you can follow this link that my doctor gave to me: www.childhoodrnd.org/media/parents...

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it. Iknow what you mean about Christ being there for me. I don't know what I would do with out Him. He could take everything away and He would still be fair.

    Morgan ~

Glad to hear that you do not have Lupus (again).  I have RSD (almost the same as RND ~ just different name)  in my leg from the surgery last year.  That is why I had the implant in my spinal cord, to help control the pain.

    What is your treatment plan?

Talk to you soon, take care.

    Hello Amanda,

thank you for commenting to my post.

I'm not sure if you know this, but RND is RSD. There are several names for the condition. Treatment plans for children/teens with RND consists of very, very strenious therapy. Normally the doctors try to "save" the meds for adults b/c most adults won't continue on through the therapy b/c the pain becomes quite a sum more than what it originally did before. Most react well to treatments and the RND goes into "remission".

So is RND, RSD similiar to fibermyaliga also?  I am very intrested in the therapy as I am only 35 an have my entire life ahead of me and like you do not like medications (narcotics)  is it just like physical therapy?

My RSD was caused by them cutting so many nerves to save my leg.  What caused yours?  I didn't think your pain was centralized in one or two locations, isn't it your entire body that hurts?

I feel so good about you finding this new doctor and avenue of treatment.  It is nice to be able to see rewards for your hard work and if excerises will help ~ be careful you don't want to loose to much weight.

Take care, you are in my thoughts.

Any luck on the social security disability ?

    BBGF,

    Amanda
