I have been having muscle pain across my shoulders, neck, back, back of my thighs, arms above my elbows, and lower legs also tired. This is very scarry for me and I hate to see my doctor for he may think i'm crazy. To many complaints. Any suggestions? bing

I suffered from pain like that a couple of years ago - in the upper body mostly - plus foot pain as well. Turned out surgery on one foot resolved the foot problem and an antidepressant in the morning resolved the muscle pain - for the most part. Since then I've learned that several family members suffer from pain all over and have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I'm wondering if I have it but until the pain returns don't plan to bring it up with my doctor. But since you are now suffering from this pain, I do suggest that you do bring it up with your doctor now. I surely remember how scared I was at the onset of all that pain so I encourage you to maybe make a list of where you hurt and take it to him/her. If he/she can't help, perhaps he/she could refer you to a specialist. I now wish I had been more aggressive in my pain management, as chronic pain surely wears me down, tires out me, makes me more likely to get irritable and depressed. So i encourage you to get this checked out pronto. Please take care of yourself!
