    Hello Beauverre

I am glad you posted your question over here and hope you get some responses.

Your situation sounds horribly painful and the numbness is really difficult.  I experience a great deal of numbness in my extremities and have suffered with it for years.

I really hope they are able to do something for you to fix this dreadful problem.

    Take Care

    Betty

My name is sherry, sorry for your pain and trouble. Back in 2006 i hurt my back and neck at work from a fall. It affected c-2 through c-7, i have had such pain and muscle spasm's,limited mobility. My doctor said i had a herniated disk, three protruding and a pinched nerve, so it makes anything i do diffcult.Working is hard because im having to sue the insurance co. for medical and pain and suffering.I am currently taking ibuprofen 800 mg and muscle relaxers and an occasional steroid shot.I am really dreading my future with this problem,i hope things will be better for you. Hope to hear something positive soon. thanks for listening. sherry

Sorry to hear your problems.Maybe they could do a laminectomy and give you some relief. I am meeting with my surgeon on Fri. to set up a surgery date. The pain and numbness are getting worse so I guess I can't put it off any longer. He said I could cause permanent damage if I don't act soon.I hope things go well for you . Try physical therapy too, it helps.I envy people who can still work though. It makes you feel very useless when you can't.Hang in there.

my husband got a morphane pump put in on 8-31-03 for spine problems and suffered a

stroke on 10-12-03. He lost use of his right side and had to take therapy to get it all

back.It even affected his speech. while in the hospital he got staff infection. which

cause him to lose his pump. they took the pump out and he would not let them put

another one in and has been on morphine or oxycondin for pain.
