Hi- I haven't posted much and I hate to through the whole thing again but to make a long story short...I had my second morphine pump put in in Oct. and now they are saying I have a collapsed disc at C-1. Thought I was having  a heart attack, went numb on the right side , even the tongue for about 12 hours. Have been waking up with numbness and pain in both hands and arms. Getting worse and culminating to the whole right side event. Sorry for the short hand but being on the computer is extremely uncomforrable for me.Any one else been through this? The Doc wants to fuse it to my other fusion (2,3,&4) It was really hard on me and I am wondering if I really will risk permanant paralysis if I do nothing. Which is not possible any way because of the ammount of pain I am in. I can't stand, can't lay down. can't sit. Please read my profile and let me know if there are any more of you out there going through this???
