It is probably very nice waking int he morning to that veiw even if it is a painting, it is very pretty. Maybe I need to have something like that to look forward to every morning. Did you do that yourself? if so you are very talented.Wink

    Have a great day.

Hello Al!  Yes, I did paint the seaview mural myself, although I am not an artist!  It is not finished yet, as I want to add more foliage around the balcony with a cat sitting on the railing.  Thank you so much for your compliment!  I do enjoy waking up to it, if I do say so myself!  Have a great weekend!

    Hello Penny

What a lovely work of Art.  You might not call yourself an artist, but I hate to tell you this.  YOU ARE honey.  Wow, I could sit and look at the ocean all day long.  I love our trips to the beach and can be comepletely content to sit in our room in a comfortable chair and watch the ocean & the boats go by for hours.

What is the actual size of this painting?

    Thank you for sharing

It is a work of art sweetie.

    Gentle Hugs & Welcome

    Hello Betty!

Thank you so very much for the lovely comment on my painting!  You are so kind, as to write to me.  The painting is approx. 8' High by 4 1/2' wide.  I painted the clouds and ocean over and over, until I got the color I wanted.  I used to sit on my balcony and watch what the ocean would bring to me...from the freighters in the shipping lanes to the porpoise frollicking just off shore.  Now I have bobcats, javelinas and roadrunners!  However, the memories and my painting remain!  Thanks again, and have a good night!

    Hello Penny

Your painting is just the size I had imagined in my mind.  How nice!

So now you look out at the woodland creatures? they can be just as nice.  But I do have a special place in my heart for the ocean & her lovely creatures.  I think the ocean makes me feel close to God.  It's so unimaginably huge & it's depth so mysterious.  Just as mysterious as God.

Thank you again for sharing.  I look forward to sharing more of your work.

Have a wonderful Sunday and I hope the Sun is shining where ever you are.

    Gentle Hugs

This is truly beautiful! Do you think you will do more wall paintings? Isn't it amazing how beauty helps heal? And isn't it wonderful how creating things also helps heal? I love your painting!

Thanks for your positive reponse to my artwork!  No, I don't think that I will do any more wall murals, as I have to paint things over too much to get them the way I want.  I only had a few art lessons, and painting does not come easily to me.  You're absolutely right about how creating things help heal us.  I'm on to my next creation, but still want to put some finishing touches on my mural.  Thanks again!
