Hi, my name is Ramadasa Jivatma and I have RSD.  Art, especially painting, has been a huge help in getting my mind off the pain.  To me it is proof that beauty can come from all this pain.  This particular painting was donated to ROTKORSD in California.  That cha...

Hi, my name is Susie and I also have RSD. I agree with you that you need to spend some quality time on yourself and be creative. I cross stitch as much as I possibly can, not for myself, but for others in my life. It seems to keep my mind off the pain and I enjoy seeing the end result. Even if I can only do it for short periods, it is a release of all the days unkindness.

Hi I also have RSD after 4 foot surgeries the last one two years ago.  I to am an artist of many mediums and I also teach kids.  I stay a busy as I can with my art because this pain can drive you nuts as you know.  I do agree that putting all your concentration into something you enjoy does do it for ya.  I also take Lyrica but it has gotten me off all the other drugs.  It does make me sleepy sometimes but I will deal with that rather than the pain from RSD.  Hope you have a great day.  I think I can aready feel the change coming up the east coast.  Hannah should be here in Cambridge, MD sometime late Friday and Saturday.  I can't complain because we really need rain badly.  Take care all and next time on I will put some of my work up.

    Stay smiling

I have found art is the only thing keeping me sane also! I have had RSD for 2 years and have recently started blogging about my artistic adventures if you're interested in taking a look: http://rellacafa.blogspot.com/
