I have a 12+ year well documented history of acute chronic cervical spinal pain, in addition to Fibromyalgia.  I have been taking MS-Contin for years and years.  My physician of the last five years recently left his practice with no advance warning, as a result of a power struggle amongst the partners, leaving me in the lurch.

I have cut my meds down to 1/3 normal dose while I seek a physician who is willing to prescribe and work with me.  Three General Practitioners's in a row have refused outright to help me in the last six weeks.  I am getting frantic.

Does anyone know anything about how to find a cooperative physician in Western Massachusetts?  The only listing I found on a dedicated Pain page's searchable Physician index turned out to be the wrong address, and was in Boston (125 miles east of me) and not in my hometown, as advertised.

Any information will help.

Thanks!
