Constant pain, intrathecal pump, sad, depressed, weight gain, suicidal,
dilaudid in intrathecal pump, dilaudid pills, percocet, cyclobenzaprine, cymbalta, insulin dependent
I am 41 and married to Ricky who is 48. We have 3 dogs: Shaka, a basset-pointer mix, Harleigh a Rhodesian Ridgeback-lab mix and finally our "baby" Parker a Great Dane. We both live and work in Tacoma. I grew up in Federal Way, WA and he grew up right here in Tacoma. It's been just about 2 years since my pain began and I still deal with it- physically and emotionally- daily as the pain just never goes away. I LOOK "normal" but they cannot grasp, the pain I go through, daily, when having to walk. Even after my surgery for my intrathecal pump (which now gives me bufpificaine (sp) and dilaudid, the pain is still too much to bear at times. I come to sites, like health center, to find articles, post messages, read others words--anything that makes me feel like I am not the only one with this disease/pain, and helps me understand that help IS out there. You just have to keep on keepin on!
