Osteoarthritis, Peripheral Neuropathy, Chronic Lower Back Pain. Chronic pain from all of these - have had for many years.
Tried Cymbalta - not for me: Anafranil for Neuropathy pain, Cannot take anti-inflammatories due to Crohns, Syndol for headaches, Am not on any meds for lower back pain - nothing seems to help.
Have been in chronic pain for about 12 years. Have tried many drugs - do not find them very effective or they have horrific side-effects.
Walking, standing are problems - neuropathy & back pain.
One just has to try various meds. and if they work and agree with you, great!! If they don't, then life is painful. ALWAYS ask a well-informed doctor about a drug before trying it - as we know, many have undesirable interactions and one can try something that just does not agree with you.
If you are able to swim, it is great for your entire well-being and the exercise can and usually does help relieve many types of pain.
