Wednesday, February 06, 2008 at 10:23 PMThank you so much for the welcome, new friend. Always feeling like poo-poo can be very lonely. I know I am loved but how do you share what you would never burden your loved ones with? I learned my lessen about having that one special medical authority in my life, and it is going to make life better I think. Thank you for stressing it again. We all need reminders now and then. Have a good one Betty!
Love,
Gloria

I can relate to your lonliness and not wanting to burden our families with all we need to talk about when we're suffering with pain 24x7. I joined the CPConnection last October and it & a bunch of wonderful members here have really filled a void with the lonlyness that I go through being homebound & suffering daily. I'm here every day and more than once a day most of the time. I really hope you can come as often as your able. It's helped with depression and I've actually gained some very close friendships.
Take Care of your self
Warm & loving wishes
Betty

Hello Gloriaathmer58
It's good to meet you and welcome to the chronic pain connection.
I could really understand exactly what you mean when you say to find one that you trust and run it past that special doc.
I have a wonderful primary care that I run every other doctors orders, med & treatment plan choices and all. I don't take any med, unless he knows about it and has said it's alright and to go ahead and try.
Thank you for your nice sharepost and hope to see you around more.
Take Care
Betty
