About Me

I live in constant severe pain due to being diagnosed by many physicians with Chronic Intractable Pain. This diagnosis comes from some of the top specialists in the country. We all are living in pain and that is why we are here. My roommate Lor has the same diagnosis for different reasons so we help to get each other through everyday with suport and understanding. I have had 16 abdominal surgeries just togive an idea as to why I hurt so bad. There have been surgeries on othr parts of my body. But the abdomen cannt be helped and believe me, I have seen the best in surgeons. It has been discouraging to hear that I cannot be helped except by seeing pain mgt. But there are people worse off than me and I really have been blessed to have good doctors that understand. What truly gets me through everyday is the wonderful and best friends that I have had! I can count these special friends on two hands and they say that you are lucky if you can count them on one. These friends have been in my life for 15 years or more and have never let me down and have always found a way to make me smile. I truly am sooooo blessed to have these friends and laughter and love and understanding and caring and the list goes on but LOVE as well have helped me get through the tough times! I hope that you all have the same blessing that I do with having special friends and if you need a new Chit Chat friend...I am here! I am Deb and I wish you all the strength and courage to get though whatever illness or situation with yu health that is affecting your lives!!! Keep smiling and hang in there. I joined this foundation and the American Pain Foundation and that site and forums have gotten me to meet some terrific people who we share personal e-mails with and have gotten closer so we can vent....venting is so important! This group looked like a bunch of great people as I read through the posts and I was just in a real winner that I spoke my mind and ran away from it as fast as I could....I cannot foresee that happening here....I am sorry I was long-winded but maybe I make ya all sleepy and you can rest now that I bored ya!
