    Hello Debbie!

Though I do not suffer migraines; I have known chronic suffering over the 30 years now and only the last 3 years have found peace with it.  I am sorry I am not able to relay any helpful advice on your particular situation.  I do know the fact of busying onself with other peoples agenda and I know your heart is in the right place.  I found  when I was in pain management group therapy over 7 years; that alot of us found some inner peace or its an adrenaline rush to do so much for other!  We have to realize though' at what price are we sacraficing.  I would say in little moderation this can be O.K. but use caution to not neglect your own goals in life and your well being.

Alot of folks and myself find "to be needed" is a huge factor when you have a chronic disabilty; it lets  you feel a sense of Normal.  What Normal is i sure can't say~! Is it bein able to do something for others?

To see yourself in need is an awakening of what New things we are capable of accomplishing.  A Rediscovery  of the self is sometimes needed to confront new ways of dealing with chronic pain and those Tools will help in your life path Living with Chronic Pain.

The awarness factor that you have is great to know you  are surrounded by Love and that can be the best kkind of healing.  I found keepin the mind busy tends to redirect my pain and realize it took me so many years to figure this out without medications.  Nothing worth fighting for is ever easily gained; but you keep what you fight for in Life!

    Keep on Keep'n On!
