    Hi,

    Would be interested to learn more. The term condyle  is a bit confusing. the only place in the spine that has a condyle is the occiput, has 2. however, there is not any disc between the occipital condyles and the 1st cervical vertebra that attaches to it via 2 joints. The 1st and 2nd also do not have a disc. thus, connecting the disc with "condyle" is confusing. Does the physician mean the vertebral end-plate? That is the bone above and below and connected to the disc that nourishes the disc.
