I want the world to know how very danderous Oxycontin is !! I have been exposed to people that have abused pain meds because they are so addictive, I just want people to be very very cautious about taking it or for their loved ones that are prescribed it.
It is a dangerous, highly addictive drug!!!!

Yes, unfortunately OxyContin is a drug that is often abused, however, most of the time it is abused by people who are looking for a high and do not actually have a chronic pain problem. While abuse by a pain patient can occur, it is the exception rather than the rule. If someone tends to have a problem with addiction, then OxyContin or any other opioid is probably not the best pain relief option for them.
