Hi Josh,
Oh yes, the lovely feeling of now what? I was also told I had possible MS and only to be struck down by the Neurolagy field saying no leasions no MS, well last year I had 2 episodes or excalabrations and to the ER I went, my Dr. had said possible MS and I told the first ER Dr. and he consolted my Dr. and they gave me 80mg straight shot of Medrol(steroid) and 3 hours later every symptom disapeard for 3 hours includeing my persistant pain and tremors, well 66 days later I returned to the ER with a diffrent Dr.( a professor in a chicago university), I had the MS Hug type thing that caused excrusheating pain the full length of my spine and around my ribs, I was in tears, I couldn't walk, sit, stand, laydown, nothing I did was without pain, again I got the Medrol shot and in 1/2 an hour the pain was gone, this Dr. said yes I had MS and just because I didn't have any leasions didn't mean I didn't have it and he said it was way to eirly for leasions to show up.
SOOOO, my Dr. sent me down state for a second opinion( worthless) she said no way too, but did say Fibromyalgia,Chronic Fatigue Syndrome,Depression,Chronic pain,Athrites in neck and Lumbar, Etc. Sooo, my Dr. did the pain point test and said yep you have Fibromyalgia, and that was that but we still visit the MS thought.
Now I have Essentual Tremors of the Head and Torso progressing to my hands and the head tremors add to my pain, shakeing my spine like a earthquake, I only get releif when I laydown and sleep,my lovely Neurologist has only tried 3 medicens and none work and hasn't tried anything else so I suffer, but he refuses to explain to me why they quit( slowed to almost nothing) when I had the Medrol shot and also refused the fact that MS has tremors also,I even brought proof from the MS sociaty( sorry for spelling!! part of my problems)..., so my list is not to long but not short with my health issues, so I feel 44 going on 80 every single day, Fatigue is terrible too, every thing I try to do only exaust me and adds to my pain,Oh ya exersise is good, well if I didn't have to be down for weeks after, it would be a no brainer.
I hope you get some relife soon!! and not so much shuffling around with Dr. Diagnosis.
((Hug)) Good Luck & Best wishes

Hi, I am an absolute newbie to MS. Don't even know for ssure if I have it. I recently had an MRI and wastold oh ya looks like MS. I'll back up here for a minute. A year and a half ago I had back surgery. fusion involving L1 nd L2, bone spurs and sternosis. Neurologist said at the very least I'd have 50% pain relief. Liar!! I am so much worse since surgery. Can't walk without walker. Can only walk a short distance. Some where along the way I totally lost all my balance. Tremors in my fingers, hands and arms, itching for no reason. Some jerking of various parts of my body. Now what do I have to look forward to? I had some nice plans for the futureand now I'm pretty sure they are gone. I wish some one could help me, WAAAAAAAAAAA
