Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 12:30 AMHi Victoria,
Thanks so much for your kind thoughts. I am slowly recovering from this new development---I have had low back pain since 1995 with multiple failed surgeries. About 3 weeks ago, I started to have neck and shoulder pain--which I tried to ignore because I had always been free of any neck pain. It finally got to the point that I couldn't lift my chin off my chest and I was really scared--I know exactly what you mean about the fear that comes with movement--I am so terrified of the back, and now neck, pain--it is like no other fear I have ever had. My neck is slowly recovering with rest and physical therapy (just for my neck--wouldn't let anyone touch my back). Apparently I had 4 cervical vertebrae that had partially fused and rotated about 90 degrees--they called it a subluxation.
I hope you can find a doctor who can figure out what is causing your pain. They tend to dismiss us when there is no objective evidence, but the fact that they can't find what is wrong with you doesn't mean that you are not suffering, nor that your suffering is not real. You deserve to be properly diagnosed and treated. Let me know if you find out anything new.

Tuesday, June 02, 2009 at 06:41 PMHi Must be hope,
I have yet another new Dr's apt the end of june so I hope that this time they can figure out something. I have had to stop taking all my meds because one of them is causing my liver to feel like its got a mind of its own. It twists and turns and buldges out like you wouldn't believe. I feel like dying! It hurts so dam bad and now the dr that i was seeing came back with a drug test and said that I'm smoking Marajuana. And I know that i have not smoked any of that. I smoke cigs but never that!!! I really didn't think alot about it until i asked for the drug test results and it didn't show any of the meds in my system at all. Thats when I demanded that the nurse that took my ua and I both have the screen done again! God, if its not bad enough with all i have going on! It turned out that the nurse was not on drugs she just got my ua mixed up with another patients. Not going back there!! LOL So, do they know why your neck is hurting? Victoria

Hi , My name is victoria and i was looking threw this site and your commit just made me start to cry. I am able to move around a little bit. But with movement comes fear. I have been to several doctors and they cant tell me what is wrong with me. I'm affraid that by the time they can it will be too late. With every year that goes by new symptoms just keep pilling up.
