I am new, but really don't want to lose touch

Hi All,

I didn't know the best way to let people know that my doctor has limited my activities to near zero following a major setback 1 week ago. I'm a little afraid because this is the first time in 15 years that I have had any neurological deficit--just when you think it can't get any worse! I am so anxious to talk with all of you and will do so as soon as I get the green light from the doctor.

Take care,
Elaine

Thanks to all

I am a real newbie on this site and doubt a lot of my posts went through. But I wanted to thank all of you who responded to my concerns with such humanity, compassion and knowledge (all lacking in friends, family and the medical community). I want to keep in touch with all of you-hope this post works.

Hi,

I'm new to this site. I have lived with severe, chronic low back pain for the last 15 years. I am now totally disabled and unable to work in any way. I would like to interact with others who are going through the same problems as I am for support, to share ideas, to share frustrations and concerns. I am very anxious to "meet" you.
