Well I know I've been writing about this a lot but seems like a lot of you are quite interested in it.  So, here is a a quick walk through of my journey.

12/6 I had my first infusion of vitamins & minerals & liquids.  Finding the right injection site & the right drip rate was challenging & took several visits to get down to an exact science.  My first visit took an hour for the IV to finish but many patients complained this was too fast & they were becoming sick afterwards, although this was not my experience. I did have the sensation of my arm that the IV was in becoming very cold, nothing a heat pack couldn't cure though!  At this point I was in such horrible shape & in so much pain that I could not recognize any benefits of this "cutting edge treatment".  About a month later I had another vitamin infusion.  Again, being dehydrated, in pain, my veins were blowing out or otherwise problematic.  But we finally got situated  & this time it seemed to take forever to be done with it.  I felt like other than peeing neon yellow it didn't do much for me.  My 4th infusion therapy was around the middle of February.  After this one I was told to take "Ribose" a tiny scoop in a glass of water once a day for a few days then twice a day until gone.  This product was to help all these micronutrients & vitamins stay in my body & combine to something.  So, I took the powdery stuff in my water.  It really didn't have a taste other than if I didn't mix it with a large quantity of water I could almost taste sweetness to it.  I would like to mention that I have very splotchy red skin on my face & for quite a while my complection cleared up.  I had also developed what appeared to be a geographic tongue which was also very shiny & smooth indicating a low B12 rate.  My lab work had come back horrible when previously done.  These treatments helped my tongue clear up with only one slight set back which corrected itself.

After my 4th IV therapy visit it was 2 weeks before having my 5th & I can tell you I was really getting fatigued.  While it seemed the benefits weren't very long lasting, the day after the treatments I always felt more invigorated than I ever had, even if only for 1/2 a day or so.  This coming from a couch potato extrordanare, a person that had taken the word "slug" to a new low level I was excited about what other people took for granted, a mere bit of energy & desire & lack of pain all coming together allowing me to actually get some things done.  Like any Fibromite-I'd overdo it because it was my only chance for another few weeks.  Then I'd end up paying for it for days/weeks.  Still it was exciting.  I just had my 6th infusion, I think that is the last one of the series, I'm not sure, maybe a patient can do more than one series? I'm sure I'll find out.  We now know exactly which injection site works best & what drip rate.
