InnocentI live in chronic pain everyday with Fibromyalgia and chronic severe back pain.  I am under the care of a pain management doctor for the last couple of months, she the pain management who I will refer to as "the pm" has tried me on a new med called "avinza"  It is a time released morphine and the begining dose is 30 mg's which I am currently taking.  It worked for 7 weeks and I felt great.  I actually lowered my dose of percocet from 6 a day to 2 a day.  The avinza is not working anymore and I will see my pm in November, 2 months from now to see what she wants to do now.  I am allotted 60 percocet a month and have to stretch them until my I could pick up my next script.  I would love to chat with other people who live in chronic pain as I am.  My name is Tammy.  No one in this whole world should ever live in chronic pain.  It deperesses you and brings on anxiety as you worry about the furture.  Where is the light at the end of the tunnel?  I am also concerned about pain med addicition.  I have been on percocet for 1/12 yrs now.  When I watch Dr. Phil and see people who aren't in pain and are addicted to pain meds taking 40 a day, it sickens me as these people ruin it for us for people who are in real pain and the doctors who are leary or just won't prescribe pain meds.  I have been down that path and thank God finally found a pm who cared andl listenend.  I am a nail technician by trade and currently out of work.  I am looking for something part-time and hope I could handle something in the job world.  I can't sit to long or stand to long.  I love doing nails, it's my life.  Hope to hear from you soon, Hugs and to all of us suffering in pain, may there be a pain free tomorrow..............Tammy ^j^
