About Me

I've had five lumbar surgeries and two nerve releases in my left leg. Because of the back surgeries I have scar tissue encased around the nerve roots causing severe pain and nerve damage. This all started with a fall down the stairs in 1998. My first surgery was in 1999 and the last one was in 2002. I've been unable to work since 2005. I've been on disability since 2006. Prior to this I worked for 20 years as an ER secretary. I still miss my job. My dog Benson is what keeps me sane.
