About Me

Had Raynauds & other sx fibromyalgia as early as 5.Finally gave it a name in 1980.Also Ehlers-Danlos.Recent diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis.Car wreck 30 yrs ago with fractures of neck,back,most facial bones,pelvis in 3 places,kneecaps,and complete reattachment R ankle, and tore both rotator cuffs.Some minor neuro deficits but went back to work as critical care/trauma nurse in less than a year.Within a year of marrying my soulmate at age 40, he was dx with A1AT deficiency (end stage)and I had ovarian cancer, having a minor stroke during surgery & had heat stroke within a month of that!Stayed home after that to care for my husband until his death. 2 years after his death I had a carcinoid abdominal tumor the size of a softball removed.Now pain just getting worse.Only have one living relative.Wouldn't have made it without my faithful, precious Rottie service dog.She hasn't been more than 4 ft away in the last 5 years,with the exception of when I was hospitalized.Now she has arthritis in her feet & ankles and I give her pain meds 3x a day too!
