About Me

I am 59 yrs old and was diagnoised 12 yrs. ago. It is a processor of testing for everything else and then calling what is left Fibro. I don't sleep well, even with the drugs, I have gained 40 lbs. and can't lose it, I have no appetite and am in constant pain. Numbness of hand, arms, legs and feet. Pain in my neck and lower back, off balance when I walk, I have "jelly" legs and stiffness in the back of my lower legs that feel like I have metal rods in them. My concentration is horrible, there are days that I cannot formulate a thought into a sentence. Headaches that last for days and bring on "episodes" of blurred vision and fatigue. I can no longer work and am trying to get my disability. In addition to all that, I have disc problems in neck and back and bone spurring. I feel that I have been mis diagnoised, but with each referral, the Doctors concur with my family practice physican. I also have arthritis in lower back, neck and hands. I know I sound like a walking disaster, but there are a lot more good days than bad and I still can rock my grandbabies, so life still has a purpose, all 8 of them.
