My husband has suffered for 20 years with chronic back pain. He has a dx of DDD, Spinal stenosis, kyhphosis and scrolosis of the spine. He finally saw a pain specialist/anetheselogiest in 2006. He went through a series of injections, none of which worked. Finally he was okay for a intratheaceal morph...

    The best place to get answers to questions about pain pumps is on our forum.  There is an ongoing thread entitled “Willing to share experience with intrathecal morphine pump implant” that was started and is maintained by Bob Englebardt.  If you don’t find an answer to your question already there, please feel free to post your question.

    We are having problems with insurance coverage for an intrathecal morphine pump, i read several postings from this site of people who had the implant, anyone willing to share what hospitals and states they are in that approved the pump, i have blue cross federal employee plan, suppose to be good but everything is a big fight
