change of weather and more pain

I've been having alot more pain in my lower back when i sleep for my so called 2 to 3 hrs after getting up im in so much pain i feel sick in my stomach and trying to get up to get a pain pill sems almost impossible. i asked my doctor what he thinks it may be he said change of weather will cause more pain. i'm in Delaware it got quite cold... Why don't people want to hear the truth?

I find it interesting that folks come to this site and ask questions then get ticked when someone is out 'n out honest with them. Am I the only one who has been told among other things, it's all in my head?

Over the years I have been told everything is fine, it might be "stress related", and perhaps a mental health expert could help.Perhaps you have had the same treatment, how did you handle it? What do you take for pain if you aren't tolerent to most pain meds? Gia
