To Catch A Cheater

The envelope read: "Department of Justice: Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement". I opened it with trepidation because this report tells me if someone is cheating on me or not. No one likes to be crossed and doctors are no different. Sure enough, the person that I suspected was in fact getting medications from different doctors, in different towns, from... Read moreChevron

Backed-Up and Barfing

Many chronic pain patients also battle the game of chance by taking way too much Tylenol each day. Only this "whammy" could cost a... Read moreChevron

FDA Advisory Panel Recommends Banning Vicodin and Percocet

You've probably been hearing in the news that an FDA advisory panel has recommended lowering the maximum recommended dose of acetaminophen from 1,000 mg per dose to 650 mg. They also recommended lowering the maximum daily dose, which is currently 4 grams (4,000 mg).  Although they didn't specify what the maximum daily dose should be lowered... Read moreChevron
