FDA Advisory Panel Recommends Banning Vicodin and Percocet

You've probably been hearing in the news that an FDA advisory panel has recommended lowering the maximum recommended dose of acetaminophen from 1,000 mg per dose to 650 mg. Pharmacist altered my pain prescription to prevent me from filling it, had to cancel travel plans.

Has anyone had problems with Pharmacists filling their prescriptions. Today I brought my prescription in and the he refused to fill it saying that my insurance company would not pay for it until the 30 days was up on my previous prescription. I really messed up!

I am in need of understanding from my doctor about my medications

I am currently on Vicodin 7.5/325 evry 12 hr. I have been on this for about 10 months after trying all the other non narcotic meds my doc wanted me to try. He will not listen when I tell him my body has built up a tolerance to the meds. He will not even call me back himself, he has his nurse call me, and then he wants me to come in to talk to him...
