kadian and I.R. oxycodone

i know my Kadian is morpheine but is my Oxycodon I.R. really Oxycontin? I have gotten a lot of different answears and remember the stigma back in appalachia about the hillbilly herion oxy. don't want to be on too addictive of a med any thought's?

Trial for Morphine Pump

Hi...I'm new here. need to change my med.'s a little. Do not want to go up, but presently what I take is not working w

I have been living with chronic pain for 30 yrs.  I am presently taking Kadian 80 mg twice a day (extended release Morphine) and 4 30 mg Oxycodone for breakthrough.  I recently had knee replacement surgery, for which dr. added, morphine 30 mg, IR.  now I am just taking my regular chronic pain med.'s which have not been working that... Read moreChevron

WHERE TO FIND A DOCTOR?

DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A GOOD PAIN MANAGEMENT DR. IN THE CHICAGO AREA THAT TAKES MEDICAID AND DOESN'T TREATYOU LIKE A "DRUGGIE"? I HAVE CALLED THE AMERICAN PAIN FOUNDATION AND ALL THE REST ETC.....
