lidocaine infusions for nerve pain

Has anyone here had lidociane infusions for nerve pain?  I have had it three times now.  I was told that it can take up to 5 doses to feel the effect from it.  So far nothing for me.  Any thoughts or comments would be great.  Thank you.

Mrs Phipps

I have had a morphine pump implant for 17 years. The Dr. had me on trazadone to sleep, but that is no longer working. I am on 17 mgs down from 20 mgs. I also have morphine and soma for breakthrough pain which I do have alot of. I am wondering if anyone else has this problem sleeping.
