Looking for anyone that has had a metatarsal amputation?

Getting ready to have a metatarsal amputation of mmy right foot due to extreme pain from Diabetic Neuropathy, I was wondering if any one here on the forum has had this procedure? can't get any relief

I hurt my back 5 years ago at work. The pain has moved it's way down to my feet. They hurt all the time they call it neuropathy. What ever they call it sure is painful.
